Cheap jeans. My black jeans did it to my car - cleaned it up immediately (use the internal cleaner sold at BMW repair locations).

Use a seat pad. Don't be a "jerk" on that. I've seen seat pads in several high end cars like Bentleys, etc. It's meant to PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT. You'll be happy you did when it's time to sell...
