If price was equal, I would do Porsche. But by the time you load up the Cayenne with stuff it is far more expensive than the BMW. There are a couple of things each truck that I really like that the other did not have. The X5M has some better techie toys (HUD, keyless open and start, the best iDrive to date, etc). The Porsche is lighter, I like the interior better. more options for tuning, better residual value.

It is a tough day when you have to make a decision between two uber-SUVs. Both are great. Cannot go wrong with either.

Jason owned an X5M and now has a 2011 Cayenne. Maybe he can chime in on the difference. Just keep in mind he had a lemon X5M and had to return it. Then again, maybe we shouldn't ask Jason.
