Yeah, I got pretty good gains/improvements on my old "89 bronco w/351w by switching to a pro-billet distributor, performance coil and multi-spark setup... but our BMW's are actually multiple spark discharge from the factory, with some of the best plugs and a tightly controlled fuel curve. Sure injectors with a more efficient atomization spray and hotter coils can help, but most of our engines already have the better design fuel injectors. (four smaller spray holes instead of one)
I would still be curious to see the coil output numbers of OEM vs the bavauto...
