Let me go to the front of that line: I am not a huge fan of his, but he is intelligent, and like everyone who is elected to that job, trying to make the right decisions. However, the entire 'system' has become so convoluted and a self-sustaining juggernaut, that an Einstein/Houdini combo would have a difficult time, imo.
I would like to see people, (of either gender), get elected to Prez and more of the Congress, that have actually done 'work', made the quarterly numbers, sold something, have a trade, etc., as opposed to mostly barristers and up through the rank politicos...
The venom in this country, mostly politically charged, is quite disconcerting, as is the lack of really getting anything 'done' or 'improved', imo.
But, I am neither a Fanboi of Obama, or a hater of him...

PS: back at the CommonSenseRanch, the quantity of drivel/inaccurate and pure BS email 'uncoverings' that float around the web is extraordinary.
And, not defending Obama or Dems, but the majority I get from my uniformed 'conservative' Geezer friends are baseless and moronic...I always ask them who "they would want" as Prez tomorrow; their responses are laughable, and purely emotional and idealistic, imo.
