really though..if the X was worth $30k as an example and now needs a new $10k engine, which makes it worth $20k. As a buyer why would I buy a $20K X5 and spend another $10K on an engine instead of just buying a healthy $30K X5. That is less uncertainty and therefore less risk than getting a broken one.

Just the thoughts from a buyers perspective.
