i spoke to my mechanic who is BMW tech and also my partner in the motorcycle industry and is in business for a long time and does BMW and Mercedes specificlly. I called him and told him about this engine, he looked it up and said his price was 10k and lowest he found with 70k miles for 9k for engine. Plus labor to take out old eninge and put new one in plus re program everything and stuff.
