Hi guys.
I live in Sweden and I bought a BMW M3 E46 2005 from USA. I'm having big trouble with the phone and bluetooth. I have put Swedish simcard into the TCU (both slots) the one on the side and the one under the plate inside the TCU unit. I can read the phonebook and my contacts on the simcard but I'm not able to make any calls except Emergency call. The red light is ON and the yellow light is blinking. Can it be that this TCU only accepts simcards from USA? Do I need to change it to TCU from Europe or something? When I go into "info" I can see that I have no strength with the simcard. The simcard is working on regular cellphones.
I visited a BMW shop and printed out this information about my car:
(Complete PREP. Cellular Phone USA/CDN)
About the bluetooth function.... I would like to know if my car has bluetooth or not. When I tried to connect my phone with the car then the phone found this device on the car "BMW89722". I added it into the phone and typed in the same code but nothing else happened after that. If I search for handsfree devices then the phone cant find any.
My TCU looks like this one:

I also have this phone in the car:

I read somewhere that I might need navcoder to activate bluetooth? Is that something for me? But how do I know if I have bluetooth? On the TCU it says Bluetooth and I also have the code written on it but how can I be sure.
I be greatfull if you guys can help me out because here in Sweden not many people are familiar with these problems (not even BMW) so I hope you can spread some light here.
The main questions are. How can I get the phone to work, so I can make calls. And how do I use the bluetooth if I have it on the car?
Regards
Kim
