Based on the model year of the car, if it had a factory TCU, it would have had Bluetooth. However, that module was likely added after the car left the U.S. The TCU modules in U.S. cars did not have SIM cards.

You will have to get the exact part number of your TCU module and then research if it has the Bluetooth function. My guess is that your TCU does not support Bluetooth.

The plus side is that adding BT is a very easy retrofit in your car. It is pre-wired for the BT-enabled TCU, and it is plug-and-play.
