I found it interesting how high torque and lower HP vs high HP and lower torque, My X leaps of the mark and loves uphill grades, all torque, but does run out of legs on the flat which in AUS our speed limits are restrictive any way, on TOP GEAR they bagged the 3.0d in the X6 for being underpowered but when you consider how far they have come the next ten years will be interesting I've read their getting around 350HP and 1000NM (remaped)with a VW TOUREG R50d, with the sorts of improvements diesels are acheiving you might wonder how many advantages their will be in purchasing V8 in the future,( a V8 diesel in a X5 perfect! ) It will be interesting to see how the US sales compare between the two.
@Bigwave if your doing those sorts of Ks I dont think I'd be spending the money on upgrades you'll most likely be replacing it in a couple of years anyway.Thanks for the replys.
