Np. Yes, Diesels are indeed getting far and they are realy easy to remap and tweak. but I am thinking that they can't outrun Gasoline engines since ///M does gasonline. and audi and benz have some pretty hard-core gasoline engines. and I agree that torque is good feeling. I got 420, could only imagine what 600 would do. yesterday I got around highway and as I was coming from airport I saw Mercedes E class following me and I kickdowned it on the exit. He couldn't get behind, but I sat for a while untill he passed me, then I started going again, I cought up, but could pass him since on brakes car started to give me slide filling due to some problems in driveline, so sadly, I let him go, Didn't want to crash on 200+km/h. what do you think Diesel would do @ those speeds? and that Touareg you mentioned, It's efficency sucks! burns far alot more fuel then 4.4i.

EDIT: Don't know about MPG, but try a Audi Q7 V12 6.0 TDI on google.
