I stand to be corrected here, but I think the TPS works by counting the revolutions of the tires - if one goes soft, it rotates a little quicker and sends a warning. So, if your wheels / tires are matching diameters, should work out OK ?
As for the Diamaris, if they were overinflated, the centre would wear more quickly. Usually the rears wear to the inside due to the camber of the rear wheels. The Diamaris have that smooth strip in the centre of the tread pattern - maybe the wear isn't so bad.
