On the test drive with the GL550, one of the first things that I noticed (comfort wise) was how cold and stong the A/C felt...yet quiet, even and non-obtrusive it was. Very impressed. Range Rover, IMO, is almost even better than Mercedes with HVAC. It is virtually silent, yet so strong and consistent!!

Congrats! You have to go with whatever you enjoy the most. Sounds like you worked out a good deal and didn't get hosed on the switch. Kudos.
