Oaktree is on a distinguished road
OK - the correct BMW part number is 11-42-7-566-327
2012 35i
I paid $12.20 with tax from the dealer.

Procedure is very straight forward.
1) 17MM socket directly underneath the motor - unscrew completely. You will see a hex drain plug, that is not for the motor, leave closed. Im guessing that is for the differential or transmission.
2) Take out the oil fill cap to allow oil to drain through the motor.
3) Change oil filter. You will need a special tool or go the cheap route. Attach hose clamp to the filter assembly then lightly tap to unscrew it. I would recommend buying a tool.
4) Change small green o-ring on the rod part of the drain cap, then change the black o ring that seals to oil filter housing.
5) Put on new copper bushing on oil pan drain plug and install. Do not over torque this.
5) Install filter element with new o-rings and start to and fill with oil. ~6.5 quarts
