I wish I could take credit for being the first on this but Palmnut is correct, Alpina was the first with the modified cartoons. Although I was the first for many mods and ideas, this was most definitely not one of them. I did have a few funny cartoon comebacks but that was about it. Sorry, no links to the 'toons since they provided entertainment value only.
I always believed in giving credit where credit was due. A perfect example of this would be the
SuperGreg Ashtray Mod. There was never any mention of
the originator of the idea or of the first to
actually perform it. Even when I performed this mod on my X, I gave credit to the "person" who did this first, I just couldn't remember their name. I used this as an example and did not intend on singling out anyone. This is just one example of many for me.
Too many original posts/mod/ideas have either been whitewashed, rewritten, or just outright stolen because it all ties back to Roadfly. This is my opinion; take it for whatever value it offers you.
