Hey Tommy, welcome. I retract my statement that you were the first to do the comic strip then. Yours was the first that I had seen. Issue is now dead. Now about the ashtray mod, I was not even an X5 owner or RF member in August 01' when the links you supplied were written. That is just to clear the record.

I always believed in giving credit where credit was due. A perfect example of this would be the SuperGreg Ashtray Mod. There was never any mention of the originator of the idea or of the first to actually perform it. Even when I performed this mod on my X, I gave credit to the "person" who did this first, I just couldn't remember their name. I used this as an example and did not intend on singling out anyone. This is just one example of many for me.
Too many original posts/mod/ideas have either been whitewashed, rewritten, or just outright stolen because it all ties back to Roadfly. This is my opinion; take it for whatever value it offers you. |
