Even if you get the part number & install the module how are you going to code it to work. The X5 does not have the code in its firmware to be activated, only the X6 has it.

When they hook you X5 onto the computer they put the Vin number in and the firmware is downloaded from the mainframe computer into your X5. So you have to get someone who is very, very smart to get the module code and download it and then upload it into your X5,

Not even the major tunning companies of X5's have even done it, I have checked about a year ago. You will need to have a dealer onside who is willing to have one of their Techs spend some time on it and try to incorporate the module code.

The X5 M has paddles, and getting the module code may work as it still has the same gearbox as your 2009 model.
