Just bought a used 05 X5 4.4 with NAV & DSP. Had the OEM Sirius receiver installed with antenna in the rear spoiler.

I used the DSP settings on this forum and actually tweaked them to sound better on CDs.

Drove 6 hours from LA to SF and switched between Sirius and CD changer. The Sirius sounds is aweful. Muddy, no brightness or crispness to it.

I can't believe it is that night and day between CDs. Am I missing something?

So bummed if this is the case after dropping hundreds on the Sirius install. :{
