Agreed. Avoid slamming the doors hard would help, especially when the window at down position.

The front/pass just failed the other day, the window dived right down to the bottom. After taking down the panels, I noticed the screw with the clip bolt to the regulator (on both ends), had been dis-placed out of the regulator. Problem solved after I replaced the clip and bolt it back together. So the regulator was working fine.

The dis-placement was probably caused by the force from the door closing, when the window was open. I had the windows open more often recently because the air-con is waiting to be fixed.

But both my wife at the passenger side and I are aware of this issue and have been very careful when closing the doors...... and it STILL fails. There's definitely a designer issue here.
