Most hotels/resturants have english speakers. Some german is close enough to english to understand a small bit. If you come to northern Italy, write me a message and I will be happy to meet you and show you my town of Trento. Happy travels.

Hoopie,
My wife and I go to northern Italy just about every year. This year (in May), we'll be going back with a couple of friends. My in-laws have a place in Asiago, which is our "home base" there. From there, we've driven to Venice, Lake Como, Florence, Rome, Sorento, la Quince Terra, you name it. I'll shoot my a message before we go. Maybe we can meet for a cup of coffee or lunch!
