I never did it! It still drives me crazy from time to time (i normally have the music up loud enough that I do not hear it) To be honest its just another headache alongside my sensor that keeps telling me my rear break pads are worn, when they aren't, and my back up cam that is twitching ughh bmw I am glad your motors make me smile
Please let me know if you find a solution. I have not had the time on my hands lately to spend hours in the garage.
