donho is on a distinguished road
Yeah, the ramp slopes slightly downward. But I go to the highway level when I stop. It is a spot I have used to test 1/4 performance for many years. It is concrete so the traction is good(not that it matters with these trucks) and there is plenty of runoff. But you need a clear road so super early in the AM seems best.

I notice that with the LC there is a split second delay when letting the brake go. I have driven turbo cars before and when you "powerbarke" them the boost builds and builds, untill the tires spin or the brakes cannot hold it anymore. But they always leave hard when you let the brake go. Because the boost is built up. What is with the delay on these trucks? It is a split second. It reminds me how my E46 M3 used to be. I would dump the clutch and it would just have a split second lag. Until the clutch delay vave was removed. But this truck is an auto. Infact the only M vehicle to ever come with a automatic tranny. and with a pair of turbos, it should build boost and leave hard. Is there some sort of safety device to protect the driveline when you use the LC?
