05 X5 without NAV or DSP. I've installed an adapter in the back (where the CD would be) and ran a wire to the front to play my ipod though the car speakers. Now I'd like to either replace that adaptor, or add to it something that would let me play XM radio as well as the ipod.

I've seem XM direct tuners that need a smart adapter and use the 3 pin / 6 pin combo with a pass through, but they say they don't work for my 2005 model.

Any suggestions?
