Hi everyone. I am not the original owner. 2nd owner and the previous couple went to the stealer for everything, or at least from what I can gather from dealership print outs of previous maintenance and a short email dialog with the previous owners, and I am assuming this can NOT be the original given it is installed in a 2003 X5 3.0i with 47K miles. Manf Date of the car is 07/2003. Previous owners, and older couple, didn't recall if the battery had been replaced or not and said they followed the BMW MX Schedule. The car is perfect.

Would you agree that there would be very little chance that the original battery could last 8 years?

I am assuming the first one was replaced near the 5 year mark maybe? So this one would have 3 years on it?
