Well, I didn't end up taking it to the dealer as the day I was going over there, the CEL went off and I didn't feel like taking the 50-50 chance that the diag couldn't be done accurately. Flippin' car is messin' with me now. haha.
My indy however is working diligently to try to get it resolved. It was in all day Friday. He replaced the fuel filter, tested fuel pressure before and after the replacement (same, 50psi) and updated the DME software. Although the car said it had the most up to date software already, after the update he noticed a few version numbers changed. He also looked at the multiplicative values and they're below 1.0. He said he's seen cars go 3-4 and have no light. He said the lights get tripped typically around 8.0 so he's not sure why it's coming on.
So right now he's cleared the codes (BMW 235 & 236 - we've now abandoned the P codes out as part of troubleshooting) and I'm going to drive it around for a while to see what comes of it.
