I guess I won't powerbrake it away from a stoplight for a while. Hearing the steamrollers chirp off the line gives me a warm fuzzy though.

Actually, I've been looking into that (my trans was replaced at 53k, but the worry is always in the back of my mind), and Level Ten Transmissions in NJ, which is known for mainly building racing transmissions (Ford 4R100s and any GM trans you can think of) does do the 5HP24 and 30. I'll be taking my truck there if it needs it.
