True, but he still did not have to donate 100% of the proceeds. The man teamed up with Nike and designed shoes to be auction off to charities (Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation). I happen to own an autographed pair (thanks sis) that I am going to auction off and put it towards my sons 529. So before we judge the guy for the genre of music he represents, let's google the guy and read about all the good shit he does.
