They're the people that Orange County BMW (in NY) use for third party warranties and there is a lot of stuff that wasn't covered on my E53. Granted, I don't remember which tier of warranty I had but it was about $3k.

Interesting....
First, if you don't knwo what coverage you brought, how can you bad mouth the company?
Second, EasyCare used to have a GREAT reputation- they were owned by Ford and generally paid well...then they were sold and taken private by an investment group...many have said 'wait and see what happens now'...your report is interesting if true, that the change to the financial backing and management impacts the front end.
