I'm hijacking this thread.......

Anyway, did you get the soft close latch replaced under CPO? I'm just curious as I've seen that the soft close latch on the 7 series is a hit or miss CPO coverage.

My latch doesn't seem right (manual close). Half the time, when I close the hatch, it auto closes, the other time, I need to slam it. I tried realigning it myself and I prob further messed it up.

RE: Warranties, it's a nice to have but I wouldn't pay extra to buy one. I bought mine CPO'd becuase the dealer had the car I wanted, I even negotiated a price with them taking the CPO off but decided to keep it on.
