Well, isnt the Lexus IS even less roomy than the 3er, much less his current G35? Plus he's not that dissatisfied with Infinitis.........I will pose that Acura TL suggestion though. He didn't buy into the VW CC that I suggested.

I think it's hard to get a late model luxury car for +/- $20k that's cheap to maintain aside from the Japanese cars.
