PS,
For anyone thinking of trying/carrying/using a plug kit, my rec'd is:
Go get a junk tire from your tire joint. Bring it home, put a couple of nails and screws, and a metal piece, into the sample tire.
Get out your kit, (and the needle nose pliers and locking pliers you also bought!, in addition to 'the kit'), and give it a try in the comfort of your garage or driveway...the practice will help immensely if you ever have to do it, 'roadside'.
