When we got our X3, my wife and I ordered the internal bicycle rack, but we ended up never using it. It is still wrapped in its original box, never opened. This is what it looks like mounted (from the BMW catalog), and in its current form:

It will hold 2 bicycles of any size, with the front wheel unmounted.

Its original price was 350 CHF (Swiss Francs) - my dealer would give me CHF 220 back for it, but I'd rather sell it to someone who is interested in it, and who might be willing to pay a bit more than that - I would like to aim for CHF 250. I live in Switzerland in the Zurich area, you are welcome to pick it up in person if you are close by, shipping within Switzerland costs about CHF 30, and to Germany CHF 40 - other parts in Europe shouldn't be much more expensive. You would be expected to pay for any shipping costs.
