For example, I have Twitter going but not the mobile office email. I have most of the nav underway but cannot find the corner blue boxes that show up in the BMW video and am disappointed the night mode is not automatic. My traditional style garage door opener will not pair with the car after 5 or so attempts. I am using both USB ports and am not sure if the iPhone 4 cradle will add features that would be useful to me. Some of my contacts and some addresses do not show up in the X5. I don't see how to program one of the buttons (where the diamond used to be) on the steering wheel.
And so on like learning those multi-contour seat controls, so is there a web devoted to such info? I would also appreciate a recommendation on where to tint the windows 30% in Oklahoma City. BTW, I have sports and premium but not techology.

Reading this forum and searching is the best I've found. I picked up my 50i in August from the Performance Center.
As someone else said, email only works with Blackberry, not iPhone.
At the recommendation of the Performance Center delivery guy (Johnathon), I programmed button "6" to switch between night & day mode for nav. Just a quick button press switches it now.
It's the same Homelink as everyone else uses. If it accepts the program, then likely your opener is a rolling code model and you will need to set the opener in the garage to learn mode, then push the button in the X5 to teach the opener the code that is stored in your X5.
I was warned to only use the USB port in the glove box to load songs off a USB stick. Performance Center folks said other devices may short it out. The cradle connects the iPhone to the external antenna on the roof, the USB cable does not. Driving back from Spartanburg, there were places where by docked phone had service and the other iphone in the truck did not.
