After disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so everything came back to normal. I did not replace the alternator as of yet. I believe my problem is more computer related. My X5 does not fully go to sleep at the end of the night which drains the battery after 24 hours or more.

thanks Sum!
I will probably change the battery first, and I was told there is a faulty resistor in the car, that will turn on the air condition in the car, that is what drains the battery. I'm not sure what is the exact part number

, there are people have the same problem and got this fix with battery first, and still drains the battery
yet, after the faulty "resistor" was changed, its back to normal again.
i will update this post as i go through whatever changes i've made.
thanks again!!
