The MAF is the standard Bosch one. The sensor was simply plugged into that. My mechanic used to be with BMW in Singapore. Now he has his own workshop where he works on Ferrari, Porshe, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar etc.He told me the sensor manufacture make these sensors for BMW and Mercedes the specs are the same so they can work in either Brand for a M62 V8 1999 - 2003. CHEAPER FOR ME REGULATES THE AIR FLOW FOR THE FUEL SYSTEM. NO PROBLEMS
