correct me if I'm wrong, concussion is technical your brain hitting the skull. So for example, like football helmets, they were talking about the padding/shock absorbtion technology. So the more padding, the less likely your brain will take more of the impact right?

You know if a motorcycle (or bicycle) helmet takes a hard hit, it must be discarded. It is designed to absorb impact once. After that, significantly less protection.
