Weasel will become famous soon enough
Well, I've been as busy as ever lately between finishing moving to the new old house I rebuilt and working late everyday at work to make my $500 work truck more road worthy, since I've been having to drive her over 100 miles a day for the last couple weeks... and she's a faaaar cry from the beloved late X5. (the truck is in the background of some of these pics) But this weekend I finally got around to working on my old E36 325is to get her back together. The front end was wrecked from my friend, and the whole back half had no clearcoat left and was faded to a very manly shade of pastel pink. I now got all that taken care of with the new parts painted and installed and some fresh paint on the whole car.

This was my absolute first time behind a paint gun and I was doing this in the backyard at the country house, against the woods... so there are a few bugs in the paint needless to say... But for a newb painting the paint layed out really well and the clear layed out great as well. Very minimal runs/drips (only like 2 total, and not a big deal where they are) I feel that if I did this in a paint booth it would have come out near perfect. Now when the paint is dry I can throw on the headlights, taillights, grilles, etc. and get this beauty back on the road where she belongs! (and will be racking up around 40k miles a year as my daily driver!)

Cell phone pics, but that isn't all that bad nowadays.
