I too have mine at the very top of the windshield, left of mirror, pretty much just above my line of sight. I do like that mount though, but I also have to agree with the OP as to why this product is even advertised on a BMW dedicated sight? I drive a Ford too, but really could care less about my detector in that car. Not sure I understand the logic, other than advertising dollars, I suppose?
