GPSnV1 is on a distinguished road
After sending in my 3.818 for a tune up, I changed to a $140 upgrade to 3.891 and now a free upgrade to 3.892 (arrives tomorrow).

I only had the 3.891 for about a month, but the range was so much better that I considered selling my Redline which I will at least keep as a backup. Also, the 'falsing' was noticeable less even when using A mode in the city.

I will need TSR during two long trips each year, but it is the ESP that holds the greatest promise. There are several threads on this at Valentine One and Valentine One The keywords are ESP, SAVVY, "cooked up" and "3.892".

I am a simple user but hope the ESP will give us an alternative to Radaractive | Speed Trap Information Network that is a problem with the BMW warranty. The discussion at the moment covers the notion of also adding GPS into the equation and beyond.

Part of my concern was that some would see the spike in V1s available on Ebay and not realize how much an upgrade costs now with this major move by V1.
