How much did you end up paying for the ICs, if you don't mind sharing?

There should be plenty of places that could solder that for you. Check on the web or on Craiglist for "electronics repair" or "video game console repair" -- most of those guys that fix xbox and PS3 problems would have the necessary skills and equipment to do something like this. ...and there are plently of them.
