If you want 2013 model than you have to wait till August 2012 as model 2012 production ends in July 2012. 2013 also has some changes and is the last production year for current model E70 X5.

You can go to any dealer in the country. You probably will get better deals on 2012 models in August 2012 than on 2013 models. But you may get lucky and invoice is still possible.

The only downside, to getting from not your local dealer is they may not give a BMW loaner when you bring in for repairs, if that is important to you.
