No need to disassemble the headlights...although you can, if you wish to put in the work. mrbmwx5 may assist if you ask him, nicely. As mentioned, i got the idea from member: Sudesh...saved me a couple grand and it actually looked pretty good on first try. I meant to re-do for a cleaner cut but never got around to it...also picked up white turn and side signal bulbs (sylvania). I actually have more of the silver metalic film if anyone is interested.
