I'm in Canada and this is a GSM phone.

You turn on Personal Hotspot from the Settings 'icon', third item on the list. Gives you the option of sharing via Bluetooth, USB cable or WiFi. On my previous 3Gs it was only Bluetooth or USB - No WiFi option.

And BTW... I love Siri... its just that if I ask to locate a Starbucks it/she responds that location services are available only in the US at the present time.
