LM60 is a performance winter tire. If you don't get much snow and ice where you are, then this is the tire for you. You can still enjoy hard cornering on those cold dry days.
The other tire is a studless ice/snow tire. Its softer, but it will give better traction in deep snow and on ice. The downside is that its more squirmy, and the limits aren't as high for cornering etc.
I run the LM60 in Toronto since the streets here get plowed relatively quickly, and we don't often get deep snow. When I go further north on the secondary roads to go skiing, I sometimes wish I had the other tire though.
