I do repairs on bm54 units.

I have been doing it awhile, and I have bought and used a lot of different kits and methods.
The instructions that you will get from buying a kit from a company is bad. And in most cases, it will either overheat your unit, or you will end up cutting the traces too deep, and completely mess up the bm54 unit!

The repair kit posted above, is not the best kit out there. The one I use, has a heat soak, which the new amps sit on. It keeps the amps nice and cool, especially as the newer amps produce more power, at 40watts x 2, instead of the standard 20watts x 2. The sound is dramatically improved.

I do not charge much, and the turnaround is no less than 24-48 hours, depending on whether i recieve a unit before 1pm.

My most popular customers are X5 owners, as the placement of these units next to the battery was stupid by bmw. However, i have had guy with a 3 series convertible, who had the car garaged from new, and his unit was toast, but not beyond repair. Even the coupes and verts, the bm54 is placed next to an air vent in the boot.

So if anyone is interested, send me a pm, or email me on [email protected].
