Ah, it's most definately the icelink. Has it been cold in your area recently? I had this happen a couple of times in the course of three weeks. The control module kept failing, and all the displays would go dead, the radio, the MID on the instrument cluster, the turn signal indicators, everything. I discovered this happened when I left my iPod plugged in over night when the temperature dipped below about 40. Just get it replaced (under warranty hopefully) and then get in the habit of taking out the iPod each night, or if it'll be sitting in your car for more than a couple of hours until it gets warmer.
