The RFT vs non-RFT debate is pages long on this site, or any similar forum on the web; it is You Pick'em, imo.

If it were mine, I would go non-RFTs, but I already drive 3 cars without them, (including a VetteVert with no spare), and don't give it a 2nd thought.
If you are concerned about a spouse hauling kids around, etc., then maybe RFTs, but when was the last time you/or spouse had a flat 'on the road'?

'All season' will do fine, as your snow/winter driving conditions in H'ville, are few, unless you are commuting on those steeper, shaded higher elevation roads,
in my experience in western NC.

Brand: not a real strong opin, but a cursory glance at TR shows Conti non-RFTs to be an 'all season', and not breathtakingly pricey. Just my 50Cts.
