Don't have a Pad/Tablet...my 5 yr old cell phone is carried/used a couple dozen times per year, but not for "Hi Honey, I'm at Walmart. What are you doing?".
The CEO's Moto Droid served us well on our 2 month road trip, and I have yet to succumb to the need for constant or continual access to mp3 'tunes' in my everyday life.
