Think they can be retrofitted.
Anyways got mine about 1mnth ago...swapped out the chrome grills that come default with BMW OEM black kidney grills . Changed out the default coronas for the LUV H8. they look good and bright.
Choice is finally up to you: if U have the patience to wait for 7mnths sure do. I dint: enjoying driving that truck now. LOl
