Anyways got mine about 1mnth ago...swapped out the chrome grills that come default with BMW OEM black kidney grills . Changed out the default coronas for the LUV H8. they look good and bright.

I hope they can be retrofitted. BMW is known to sometime make things difficult by making some internal changes where the light goes.
The new halo lights are like these below. If possible(assuming no changes to where the light goes) you will have to change the entire headlight assembly unit. I believe they are $1500+ each x2 = $3000+. The
LCI X5 headlights are also close to $1500.
