Sorry, no. BMW (and other mfgs) have a common practice of not repairing trannies. Fine when they are paying the warranty- but not so good as the model ages.

You are right to go to an indy- especially if they have experience with the inside of these transmissions... I'd be interested to hear of BMW/PUMA gives you much guidance...
